Douglas Grey Barstow, Jr. M.D.

Dr. Barstow received his undergraduate degree in Biomedical Sciences from Texas A&M University, where he did research in Neuroscience and Bioremediation of contaminated soil. He was also one of the founding members of the "Replant" tree planting tradition at Texas A&M.

After college, he earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. Internship and residency in Internal Medicine were completed at LSU in Baton Rouge, LA. He then completed his clinical fellowship in Allergy and Clinical Immunology, and worked as a research fellow in the division of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, at Charity Hospital in New Orleans, LA. He continues to serve on the Louisiana Medicare Review Board.

Dr. Barstow is a member of the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, where he has served on the national Indoor Environment Committee, Aerobiology Committee, and Basic and Clinical Immunology Committee. He is also a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology.

In his spare time, Dr. Barstow enjoys hiking and jogging, has traveled in Europe and backpacked in Africa.

Dr. Thomas Leath, M.D.

Dr. Leath is a native Texan, and received his undergraduate degree in Chemistry from Texas A&M University.  After college, he earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.  He completed all of his post-graduate training in Winston-Salem, NC at Wake Forest University.  This included internship and residency in Pediatrics, an additional year as Chief Resident of Pediatrics, and his fellowship in Allergy and Clinical Immunology.  Upon return to Texas, he joined the clinical faculty of Texas A&M Health Science Center as an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics.  In that capacity, he has provided lectures and a clinical rotation experience in Allergy and Immunology for medical students and residents.

In his spare time, Dr. Leath enjoys jogging, music, and coaching youth soccer with his children.
